FAQs

FAQs

We want to make your Fish experience as relaxing as possible from start to finish. So we have created some FAQs to help answer any questions you may have about your stay.

ARE DOGS ALLOWED?

We welcome one medium-sized or two small well-behaved pooches, aged one year or over. We have a number of dog-friendly rooms, with wooden floors, easy access to your car and 500 acres of Cotswold countryside on your doorstep for those all-important dog walks.

A charge of £30 per dog per stay applies and includes a cosy dog bed in the room, two dog bowls, some lovely doggie treats and a dog towel. You can relax in the bar and lounge with your furry friends, where you can dine from our bar menu, but we ask that dogs are not taken into the restaurant.

WHAT TIME IS BREAKFAST?

Breakfast is served in Hook from 7:30am until 10:30am daily.

DOES THE FISH HAVE A SPA?

We do not have spa facilities at The Fish and due to it’s intimate size – our guests unfortunately are unable to use the spa at our sister hotel Dormy House.

CAN I BOOK A ONE-NIGHT STAY AT WEEKENDS?

We typically operate a two-night minimum stay at weekends.

However, we do occasionally have one-night options available with this being indicated on our website when you proceed to our booking engine.

CAN I CALL / EMAIL AND GET BETTER RATES TO THOSE ADVERTISED ONLINE?

We always make sure we put our best available rates online, but if you would like to talk through any aspect of your stay please call us on 01386 858000.

HOW MANY ADULTS CAN SHARE A TREEHOUSE?

Our Treehouses are suitable for a maximum of two adults and two small children (12 years old and under) only.

ARE THERE ANY ROOMS THAT CAN ACCOMODATE THREE ADULTS?

All our rooms are suitable for two adults with some rooms being able to accomodate children (12 years and under).

However, we have a limited number of family interconnecting rooms available.
